The Ritz Community Theatre will hold open auditions for Into the Woods on May 15, 16, and 17. Performers of all experience levels are encouraged to attend. We are seeking both youth and adult actors for this production.

With music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and a book by James Lapine, Into the Woods is a beloved musical that intertwines the stories of familiar fairy tale characters, including Cinderella, Jack, Little Red Riding Hood, and Rapunzel, into a single, compelling narrative. At the heart of the story is a Baker and his Wife, who set out on a journey to break a witch’s curse and restore their chance to have a child. Along the way, wishes are granted, but the consequences of those wishes reveal deeper truths about responsibility, community, and what it truly means to live “happily ever after.”

This production will be part of the Ritz Community Theatre’s upcoming season, and we are excited to bring this rich and meaningful story to the stage.
