It's Time to Glitz up the Ritz!

The Ritz Community Theatre has delighted audiences in the historic Ritz Theater for over thirty years!  We're looking to renovate, upgrade, and improve the theatre to be ready for the next thirty years!

Our Goal:

We're seeking to raise at least $500,000 to go towards all the projects on our list!  We can make it happen with the help of supporters like you!

The Projects:

  • Restoring the Ritz Marquee - $125,000

  • Replacing the carpeting throughout the theatre - $25,000

  • Replacing the theatre seating - ​$30,000

 

The remaining amount raised will go towards the following projects:
Renovating the bathrooms, Updating the theatre lights and rigging systems, Replacing the curtains inside the theatre, and Paint/Wallpaper the lobby

 

All estimates are based on quotes provided to the theatre and are subject to change.

How You Can Help

  • Donate towards the campaign!

    • Please donate to our campaign! No amount is too small. Every dollar donated will go towards our projects to prepare the theatre for the next theatre years!​

  • Spread the word!​

    • Let all your friends know about our projects and campaigns to accomplish our goals! With your help, we can be sure to reach all our patrons and friends of the theatre!​

  • Visit the theatre often!​

    • We have big plans and a dedicated team of volunteers to make them a reality! Visit the theatre often to check on our progress on all of our projects!​

Donation Levels

  • $500 - Name in the paper

  • $1,000 - Name in all Ritz programs

  • $2,500 - Name on a plaque in the lobby +

  • $5,000 - Use of the theatre for one event

  • $10,000 - Name on a row of seats

 

+Your name of choice to be displayed on a plaque in the lobby for at least ten years.

Projects Completed:

We've been able to complete the following projects:

  • Replaced the backstage water heater

  • Added a utility sink for the backstage painting area

  • Replaced the roof on the annex building

  • Replaced the HVAC system in the annex building

  • Replaced a commode in the women's bathroom

Theatre Seats:

Theatre Seats

As we move forward with some big projects at the Ritz, we will be looking to find new homes for our current theatre seats!  For a donation of $100 or more, you can own a row of seats from the theatre!  Please note that seats will not be available for pickup until our new seating has arrived.  We expect seats to be available starting late August to September 2024.  Click the link below for more information.
